browsing the internets, a.k.a. shopping
it's fun shopping online. and it's even more fun if you have money to buy things, which i do not. check out these lovelies from Herbivore. they have darn nice things in store.

happenings of recent
hi there! we've been out and about doing things and doing nothing. today = barack obama! holy moly. new year, new pres, new mind. i can feel it!
pitchfork's 50 best albums of 2008 is up. and i haven't heard enough, nope. i need to get back in the loop.
as far as dang argyle goes...
* we added a few things to the shop recently. (do you like star wars?)
* we've both been absorbed in some good nordic fiction books. (if you want suggestions, let me know!)
* we're trying to think of a warm weekend vacation destination. (where we will hopefully not drive any cars into lava rocks or faultlines.)

we sew crap
we got crafty over the holiday break and did some cross stitching! of course this was a classic design for us to do, as "that's a buncha crap" is the best saying ever. this is my version. coco will post her cross stitched version shortly.

*in elementary school we had a friend named satomi who used to draw little poos on her notebooks. so we did as well. cute little steaming piles of poo complete with buzzing fly. we drew those into middle school. i have no idea why. satomi, if you're reading, please tell us why?

the tales of sewers
last night i woke up in the middle of the night screaming in pain, that was coming from my foot. i found a needle jabbed in the bottom of it! i had somehow "stepped on" it in my sleep. the needle (not a straight pin) must have been stuck in my bed from recent projects. i just can't figure out how the bottom of my foot became perfectly aligned with it enough to jab it in so hard. sewing room = bedroom.
