to celebrate, cities across the world are having mostly simultaneous etsy craft parties on friday, june 18. have your own, or join in on all the parties already set up and waiting for you!
you can find a party near you, and register at meetups.com. there are a bunch in michigan!
you don't have to be an etsy seller, or even a crafter. some meetups are working on DIY projects, most are having snack and drinks. it just sounds like an overall swell time to chat about etsy and elephants and eucalyptus trees, or whatever.

this saturday, june 12 is the first crafterlot. it's a mini outdoor fair featuring 20+ indie artists selling their wares. this family friendly event runs from 5-8pm in the blue house parking lot. here is a sneak peak at some of the vendors. (including boh bon soap! i must stock up.)
also on june 12, from 2-5pm, i'll be teaching a how to make a tote bag class, for ages 14+. a couple of dang argyle secrets may be divulged. there is still room in the class if you're interested.
it's a great day to check out the blue house!
i hope everyone is having a great warm season so far. i promise my next post won't involve blue house. ;)-mnz
